Dutch Oven Recipe | South African Potjiekos

The South African Potjiekos is one of our favorite camping recipe ideas so we wanted to share it with you. We love cooking in our Lodge Dutch Oven, and this camping meal is easy to do and very delicious to eat. The potjie is a staple in South Africa and there is no right way to do it, so chuck in whatever ingredients you have and have some fun with it! We made this potjiekos with beef, brussel sprouts, carrots, green beans, onions, mushrooms, and red potatoes, but you can really change up any of those ingredients for whatever you have. It’s more about the method of cooking it over the campfire than what you put in it.
